MECHANICAL TREE DISMANTLING

We continually train our team, both in house and externally and our engineering and fabrication workshop are constantly developing and improving our equipment to improve efficiency of operation.
We frequently deal with Ash dieback (Hymenoscyphus Fraxineus, also known as Chalara), as the infected trees become brittle and dangerous to climb. It is recommended by the Arboricultural Association that these are dismantled mechanically for safety reasons. In fact, as the hierarchy of works on a risk assessment should indicate, mechanical dismantling should be chosen over MEWP or rope and harness work as a safer option.
We have several lorries, with a range of capabilities, suited to different environments including vehicles which can also access sites off road. Our standard national operator’s licence enables us to run a fleet of vehicles, so we should always be able to provide you with the right vehicle for the job, including removal of the arising timber when required.
